About me!
I have an honors undergraduate degree in English Literature, meaning I read a ton of books and it really ruined the love of reading for me. I'm slowly rediscovering genres and tropes that I adore.
I founded Rose Reviews with absolutely no end game goal. We will see how this goes!
Me, continued!
I dream of owning my own publishing company one day. For now, I will settle for this blog! When not reading, I'm probably playing video games or snacking. Nachos are my favorite flower (but sunflowers are pretty cool). I grew up playing MMORPGs, and I love to get lost in endless achievements and exploration.
The story matters, but the journey is the best part.

Education
2016-2020
Honors in English Literature
Bishop's University
At BU I took classes on Elizabethan and Jacobean Shakespeare, Journalism, Greek Theatre and more. I can recite some Chaucer (badly, but I can), understand hidden tropes and themes in film and music, and have a knack for finding spelling errors in assignments already submitted.
2020-2022
Certificate in Publishing
Ryerson University / Toronto Metropolitan University
During my certificate I took courses that allowed me to discover niche aspects of the industry. Copyediting may not be the career for me, but I learned so much about design aspects and how to create books from the bottom up. HMTL and CSS to InDesign and Illustrator. Who knew how much could go into creating a cookbook?
2022-Present
Student of Life
Since my certificate ended in August 2022, I have been practicing HTML on the side. I have since earned my SmartServe, my Food Handling certificate for Ontario, and an AODA certificate. Time Magazine Person of the Year 2006.
